Our website features a selection of beatiful photography along with a place for you to add your own. This website is meant
to show you really cool places and help you share some of your own. The world is a beautiful place and we want to embrace that here in our
corner of the web.
We have some criteria for submissions and for that you'll want to refer to our rules page. We outline what we're looking for and
how you can help our space grow. We want this site to feel like an extensions of nature and to serve as an inspiration to get out there.
Did you see the best sunset of 2022? Maybe a wicked storm while out at sea? Please share it with the community.
Any submissions will then be reviewed by our moderators and added to the voting pool. The pictures that win these monthly competitions will then
be added to our ongoing winner's page where we have a gallery of all the best submissions!
Winner's are entered into a raffle and have a chance at a special prize rewarded at the end of the year. Good luck and have fun.
Rules
It's all about nature right? Here at PhotoGen we wanna see nature at it's finest but in order to do that we have to make sure we are
getting the right stuff. We are looking for high quality pictures that capture nature in all it's beauty. Please ensure submissions are of good resolution
and clarity. When submitting photo's please leave a small note about what category the picture belongs to and a title for your image. This will help
with the voting process and give the picture a unique name.
Please keep filters to a minimum and try to avoid editing any submissions. It is also important to not steal others work. Any content posted on
this website should be your own. We are hoping these photos can be used as
desktop backgrounds, household pictures, or office inspiration. We accept files in standard formats such as JPEG, PNG, and GIF's.
When using the chatroom please refrain from any profanity and keep the conversations lighthearted. We want this website to be welcoming and friendly to all who visit.
As far as everything else goes our biggest rule would be to have fun and enjoy yourself!
Submissions
Please help us build our gallery with works of your own! We rely on your help to make this website what it is. A picture is worth a thousand words and here at cNature we are shooting for infinity. Our submissioins are split up into three categories shown below. Before submitting please review each category and determine which one would best fit your work. When turning in a piece you will want to specifiy it's category and include a title for the piece. This title should be something that describes the picture in a unique way or is relevant to the setting.
Category Overview
Greenery
This section is dedicated to everything you might find in a forest or sprawling field. We are looking for pictures that make you feel like you're on a long hike in the woods or exploring a great forest. What makes forests so interesting is that each one you go to can feel vastly different. Depending on what part of the world you are in you will find different trees, grasses, bushes, plants or wild life. All of these differences help to make a unique environment and make each place feel like it's own. This category is called greenery but don't be scared to include images that take place in the winter or fall. Submissions don't have to be green in a literal sense.
Mountainous
This section is everything regarding the earth and the hills that line it. Here we are looking for images of rolling mountains, great heights, and breathtaking ranges. If you've ever went hiking on a large mountain you know just how great it is to get to the top and look down on the earth below. Any pictures that embody this feeling or remind you of how small we are would be great. Mountains are essentially the oldest structure on the planet. These formed over thousands of years from earthquakes and other means of teraforming. They are home to many unique animals or atmospheres and are a core part of the world. Similar to the greenery section don't be afraid to submit volcanoes or underwater ranges if you feel these fit the theme.
Aquatic
The final category is dedicated to anything relating to water. Water makes up 71% of the earth and the oceans hold 96% of all water on earth. The seas can be beautiful but also devastating and dark. The tallest wave ever recorded was 86 feet tall, that's almost 10 stories! With the seas creating so many different feelings and atmospheres they can be a great place for photography. We are hoping to see a wide vareity of aquatic inspired additions. Similar to the other categories don't be afraid to include photos that take place underwater or in arctic environments. Frozen lakes and shots on the ice would still fit into this category.

Our collection is small for now but with your help our content will only grow. Below is a collection of all the previous winner's work! Place your bets! Please review the finalists images and take a vote on which pictures you thought were the most moving. The voting is divided into three categories allowing for three winners. There will be a finalist among each category. The winners of each category will be contacted by us and receive a special thanks plus something extra! New images are always coming and going with new submissions. Don't worry though, everything that's been on the site is featured in our archive so that you never have to worry about losing that special moment.
