Old School RuneScape is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in the world of Gielinor. The game was released in 2007 using a unique game engine that revolves around a game timer known as the tick system. Every .6 seconds a game tick occurs allowing you to input an action. The game features simple graphics and a variety of skills like crafting, hunter, slayer, herbalore and more. There's a large variety of bosses and minigames that require unique mechanics in order to defeat them. OSRS has been running for a very long time and is still updated regularly through their community polling system.
